Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21st, 1956) is a British-Canadian actress best known for her role as Samantha Jones in the HBO series Sex and the City for which she earned five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. Her role was reprised by her on two of the Sex and the City films (2008) as well as Sex and the City 2 (2009). Her most prominent characters include Police Academy Big Trouble from Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the 80s. Kim Cattrall's character on the HBO television show Sex & the City is one of the most memorable. Cattrall known as an actress, has been credited with her portrayal of Samantha Jones as a career-defining role. This was more than a hit with the audience in her native country and made her a global celebrity. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. The most famous of her roles was the actress who played La Dolce Vita in the movie comedy drama. The film was both a critical and commercial success and won the Golden Palm and Oscar at Cannes Film Festival 1960. Before becoming an model, the model from Skane worked in fashion. She went on to win her first Miss Sweden contest. In the US her first appearance was in movies playing minor role. The first movie credit she had was in the role of Venusian as Venusian in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars. The film was later awarded the Golden Globe award in the Most Promising Newcomer category, after her appearance in the film Blood Alley.
